She is now a professor at UNB, teaching courses that use art and cultural practice\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u201c as a launching pad to think about history as both an intellectual practice and a lived experience\u201d.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Her new book \u201c For Folk\u2019s Sake\u201d looks at art and economy in 20<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup> <\/span>century Nova Scotia, and is dedicated, in part, to \u201cTrudy and Paula Garson who inspired generations of weird art kids in Yarmouth\u201d.
