Gallery guides needed

Gallery guides to help with the Canaccord Free Access School Program needed.

The gallery held its initial training session for gallery guides this past November. It was a huge success although some volunteers could not attend due to other commitments.

The good news is that it’s not too late! The training is on-going and will continue once a month. You can join any time!

With the Canaccord Free Access School Program we want to increase class visits to the gallery … so we need more volunteers! As schools are starting to express an interest in doing tours, we want to take advantage of this and start doing bookings asap. The more guides we can get, the more schools can get tours!

Next meeting of volunteers January 30th at 10 a.m. at the Gallery. AGNS Laura Carmichael (Assistant Curator of Education) will be teleconferencing at this meeting.
